Yoga teaches us to move with a softness that becomes vitality,
flexibility that arises through perseverance,
and mental clarity that is the gift of sustained attention
on sensation and presence.
In yoga we build skills and cellular memory,
that make life rich and beautiful,
relaxed and nourishing.

The best gifts of yoga are available in all levels of practice, from the gentlest to the most intense.
This is why true yoga is available to everyone and is a regenerative practice for ALL ages.

Yoga is practiced in classes of many varieties. Private Yoga lessons are also available and help you to deepen your practice, or help you to come back to yoga after an injury or an absence. Private yoga lessons can be a stepping stone to becoming comfortable in a class format, teaching you how to modify class settings to your specific needs, or helping you create a deeply satisfying home practice.

Yoga, meditation, and breathwork are medicine to all aspects of our being...

PHYSICAL HEALTH… healing and care of the physical: posture, organ systems, mobility, groundedness, muscular strength and coordination, joints, hormonal balance, blood, brain, bones, digestion, heart health…reduction of stress and symptoms of dis-ease…
ALIGNMENT…to fine tune alignment is to ease pain, feel energized, and refresh our embodiment all day long.
BREATH…both the quality of the natural breath (what is your breath showing you about how you are and what you feel right now?) and the transformational quality of conscious breath (Changing your breath changes everything.)

EMOTIONS…emotions are felt as energy in our bodies, as a force. Emotions are full of messages, information, sometimes guidance. Sometimes emotion is deeply intertwined with physical pain and physical ailments. Emotional release is a natural part of strong health practices and combined with meditation increases emotional intelligence and inner freedom.

MIND…in present mind, in awakening awareness, we find wisdom that informs true strength of being, inner peace, and our capacity to be creatively present in our lives and the lives of those around us.

ENERGY…transmutation of dense/stagnant states into vibrant qi.
RELAXATION…complete conscious relaxation is an essential skill, cultivated through mindfulness.. refreshing, regenerative, delightful. “Whether talking or remaining silent, whether moving or standing quiet, the Essence itself is ever at ease.” Daishi Learning how to live and move in an energized relaxed state reduces stress and nourishes present day and long-term health.
